He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Engan and Judy Witzleben (Engan); his in-laws, John and Renee Croy; his sister Dawn McMurry; his siblings-in-law, Shari Croy-Wandler (Mike Wandler), Tracy Turnbull (Bart Turnbull) and Jimmy Croy; and his close friend Booy Dejarlais.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Engan; his children, Adam Engan of Post Falls, Whitney Coe (Ryan Coe) of Liberty Lake and Trisha Madsen; his grandchild Austyn Madsen of Post Falls; his brothers, Greg Engan (Cheryl), Boyd Engan and Terry Engan; and his stepfather Gary Witzleben.
