He is survived by: his sister Mary Ellen Starr of Little Elm; his sons, William E. Vonberg Jr. of Burlington, Anthony S. Vonberg of California, Christopher K. Merkley of Coeur d'Alene and Brent J. Merkley of Port Angeles; his grandsons, Garret C. Merkley and Patrick Vonberg; and his great grandchildren, Liliana Merkley, Harper Merkley and Crew Merkley.
