She was predeceased by: her mother Sandra Rae Hathaway Grote. She is survived by: her father Hans-Harald Grote; her significant other Larry Leppelman; her sons, Jesse Barton [Ashleejean] and Joshua Barton [Kamina]; her brother Peter N. Grote [Susan]; her grandchildren, Zella, Asa, Tasha Grote and Kash Vesser; her stepmother Annabel Grote; and her stepsister Ellen Vincent.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Freeze Church. A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Freeze Cemetery. A reception will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Freeze Church.
