He is survived by: his wife Elaine Rolfson Mitchell; his children, Emily Mitchell, Kara Swensen (Scott), Mark Mitchell (Sara), Laurie Gilbert (Jeff), Erin Grush (Brian), Anna Speegle (Justin), Kristen Francom (Michael) and Sarah McCleery (Trevor); and his siblings, Larry Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell and Lynae Frates. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
