We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Dallan Earl Rasmussen (Preston, Idaho). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey Hans Rasmussen and Ramona Mae Talbot; and his brother Maynard. He is survived by : his wife LuAnne McClellan; his children, Clint, Melanie Hobbs (Kory), Mark, Annette Vredeveld (Nick), Matt (Sabrina), Jon (Jamie) and Eric (Kristin); and his sister Eilene. He is also survived by sixteen grandkids.

Due to COVID restrictions, the funeral services will be for the immediate family only at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2020, at the Franklin County Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints temple construction fund.

“I met Dallan in the mission field (North British Mission UK) 1964/1965! I was from Lewiston, he from Preston. I was impressed with his Humility and kindness in his missionary service. A hand shake from him was always met with the firmest of grips from hardworking on the farm! Thinking back, I can't remember a time when he didn't have a smile on his face, his missionary testimony helped to strengthen my own! I share your sorrows in his passing, God bless you at this time!”
