It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Edgley Nuffer (Preston, Idaho), who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Evelyn Edgley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Evelyn Edgley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Evelyn Edgley leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phenoi H. Edgley and Ona Crockett Edgley; her husband Stanton Smart Nuffer; and her sisters, Lenona Hawkes and Marcia Packer.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Neuffer (Heidi), Brian Neuffer (Trudy), Andrea Godfrey (Ben), Barbara Dittman (Eric) and Bradley Nuffer (Kimberly); and her siblings, Richard Edgley and Kathryn Fellows.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (6376 N Royal Park Ave, Boise, ID 83713). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Preston Cemetery (1451 N 800 E, Preston, ID 83263).
