He was predeceased by: his parent Gayle Busenbark Frandsen; his in-laws, William and Diane Rosier; his siblings-in-law, Olea Frandsen and Jim Buchmiller; and his grandson Mathew Scott Beardall.

He is survived by: his father Dick Jackson Frandsen; his wife Lori; his children, Justin Frandsen (Sarah), Brian Frandsen (Sheila), Kelly Frandsen (Jessie), Rebecca Beardall (Mikel), Carissa Brasher (David) and Jessica Frandsen; and his siblings, Jay Frandsen, Tammy Lehmitz (Harvey), Jeannine Buchmiller and Alen Frandsen (Natalie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
