In the sacred silence of farewell, Orthea is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Orthea's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orson Cox and Althea Cox; her significant other Jack; and her son Wade. She is survived by: her children, Kevin (Judy), Courtney (Kelly), Sherrie (Kyle), Troy (Celeste) and Stacy (Deon). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dayton Ward Chapel (825 N Westside Hwy, Dayton, ID 83232). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dayton LDS Chapel (825 N Westside Hwy, Dayton, ID 83232).
