He is survived by: his son Jason Merrill (Tonya); his grandsons, Dakoda, Dylan and Nash; his daughter-in-law Kassidy; his stepgrandchildren, Diondre, Keyshawn and Kaiya; and his siblings, Michael Merrill (Sandy), Robert Merrill (Jean), Kent Merrill (Loralee), Kirk Merrill (Charleen) and Karen Harris.
