She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Cy Herd and Dorothy Hunsaker Herd; her sister Michelle Ransom (Kelly); and her grandsons, Mike Winn and Parker Kelly.

She is survived by: her children, Darren (Teri), Lisa (Doug), Stacey (Kirk), Brian, Karen (Steve) and Kristen (Shaun); her siblings, Voneal Friess (Ray), Wendy Jensen (Kent), Bruce Herd (Vickie) and Laurie Petersen (Mike); and her uncle Rollo. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
