He was predeceased by : his parents, Lyle Ackerman and Vida Ackerman; and also Vida. He is survived by : his wife Joyce; his children, Brian, Keri, Brad and Virginia; his grandchildren, Abby, Coldin, Caitlin and Reegan; and his siblings, Cliff (Jeannie) and Charlotte. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
