He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his sister Melody Waller; his son Joe Ockert; his grandchildren, Craig Nalley, Dakota Ockert, Katie Pitts and Kennedy Kesner; and his great grandchildren, Diego Pitts, Michael Pitts, Casey Nalley, Cryss Nalley, Howard Kesner and Dutton Ockert.
