John Jurkovich Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Jurkovich of Rathdrum, Idaho, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his mother Bernadine Jurkovich. He is survived by: his father John Jurkovich; his wife Susan Ruffier-Jurkovich; his siblings, Larry Jurkovich (Ruth) of Grangeville, Idaho and Gayle Woolsey (Rolly) of Star, Idaho; and his uncle Murdo Cameron. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a rheumatoid arthritis organization of the donor's choice in honor of John "Corky" Jurkovich.
