He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Olson and Eva Olson; his wife Helen Gerth; and his siblings, Richard, Dean and Constance.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Olson (Lisa) of Twining, Michigan, Kathryn Laursen and Karen Olson of El Cajon, California; his grandchildren, Robert Smith (Jessica) of Bonney Lake, Eileen Wickstrom of Pullman, Jolene Pound (Sean) of Medical Lake and Nichole Golembiewski of El Cajon, California; and his great grandchildren, Skyler Olson, Makayla Wilcotts, Grace, Ethan Olson, Logan Wickstrom, Aiden and Liam Pound.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hills Lutheran Church (13541 W Hwy 53, Rathdrum, ID 83858).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
