As Albert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Albert. Though Albert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nelson and Saville Nelson; his siblings, Wilbur Thayne, Richard Nelson and Carmen Smith; and his son Mark Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Nelson of Hibbard; his daughter Lori Hicks (Bobby) of Caldwell; and his siblings, Mary Stinchcomb (late Jesse) of Kuna, Martha Jensen (Conard) of Rexburg, Laura Meyers (Sam) of Mountain Home, Doyle Nelson (Debbie) of Grants Pass and Lila Hardage (late David) of Idaho Falls. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hibbard LDS Church (2001 N 3000 W, Rexburg, ID 83440).
