Deon Stoddard Obituary
In loving memory of Deon Stoddard of Rexburg, Idaho, who departed this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 84. Deon leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Russell Schwendiman; her husband Richard Lymond Stoddard; her son Brian Hymas; her granddaughter Ashley Hillman; her mother Faye Schwendiman; and her siblings, Scott Schwendiman and Debbie Beattie.
She is survived by: her children, Jana Hillman (Randy), Joy Smith (Ralph), Richard Stoddard Jr. (Nathalie), Kristine LaPlante (David), Kayleen Schulz (Rob), Douglas Stoddard, Clinton Stoddard (Margarita) and Russell Stoddard (Shelley); and her brother Randy Schwendiman (Sherie). She is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Henderson 1st Ward (170 W 1st S, Rexburg, ID 83440).
