We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025, at the age of 82, Dixie Jo Sensenbach of Rexburg, Idaho passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dixie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dixie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dixie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon R. Smith and Ethel Elber Smith; her grandparents, Lester, Grace Barrett and Gordon; and her husband Bruce E. Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Simmons (Lynelle), Kristine Barnes (Kenneth), Darryl Simmons (Christine) and Lexie Perkins (Ryan); and her sibling Sensenbach. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wood Funeral Home & Crematory - Ammon (963 S Ammon Rd, Ammon, ID 83406). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
