With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivan Gerdes (Rexburg, Idaho), who passed away on May 28, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Gerdes and Relda Gerdes; his siblings, Daniel Gerdes and Mardene Byington; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Raley, Dennie Arnold and Janet Arnold.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Arnold Gerdes; and his children, Blake Gerdes (Jean), Trever Gerdes (Bridgett) and Stacie Cordier. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to assist with funeral expenses.
