He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Chapple and Iva Chapple; his sister Koreen Morgan; and his siblings-in-law, Candy Chapple, Debbie Chapple and Ralph Brian.
He is survived by: his children, Rob Chapple, Mitch Chapple (Tara), Holly Meikle (Matt), Gage Stacey (Lindsay), Casey Williams, Kelsie Orr (Steve), Cory Gardner (Krista) and Kyler Gardner; and his siblings, Don Chapple, Brad Chapple, Karen Brian and Kerrie Gardner (Randy). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
