It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judy Steiner of Rexburg, Idaho, born in Rigby, Idaho, who passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milan Casper and Laura Casper; her husband Keith Steiner; her sister Carol; her son-in-law Jay; and her grandson Braydon.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Steiner (Erica) of Smithfield, Utah, Joanna Kreifeldt (Rick) of South Jordan, Utah, Lynette Butterfield of Springville, Utah, Melanie Gordon (Alan) of Rexburg, Idaho and Kelli Lindsey (Brett) of South Jordan, Utah.; and her siblings, Kent Casper (Suzy) of Boulder, Colorado, Dianne Madsen of Rexburg, Idaho and Lori Chapman (Jeff) of St. George, Utah.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rexburg Center (590 Summerwood Dr, Rexburg, ID 83440).
In honor of Judy's lifelong passion for literature and education, the family extends an invitation to bring a children's book, new or used, to donate in lieu of flowers.
