He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Schwendiman; and his children, Kami Brown, Kristie Buehner, Jaron Hirschi, Stephanie Orr and Devin Hirschi.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sage Creek Ward Chapel. Since the first trip in 1990, he has organized this same tour for multiple high schools every year, only missing in 2020 due to the pandemic.
