She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvan Neal Cook and Viola Mildred Cook; her brother Sylvan Neal Cook; her husband Val H. Brizzee; and her son James David Brizzee.
She is survived by: her children, Jay Brizzee, Maurie Lyn Purser, Gabel C. Brizzee (Amy), Erin Beth Crittenden (Jim), Josh C. Brizzee (Hilary), Tyler Francis Brizzee (Stephanie) and T. Jay Brizzee (Jennifer). She is also survived by her 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
