He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Smith and Rebecca K. Smith; and his son Claine. He is survived by: his siblings, Orlin, Julia Ann, Emma Lee, Boyd, Thomas and Theral; his family, Claine, Karl and Greg; his wife Rhea; and his sons, Roy Anchorage (Maria) of Alaska, Karl Reno (Linda) of Nevada and Greg Grantsville (Elizabeth) of Utah. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
