Philip left this world on November 28, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William DeMar Wightman and Thelma Elmira Barnson Wightman; his siblings, Judy Johnson, Marilyn Webb and Robert Wightman; and his great grandchild Preslee Sullenger.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Wightman of Rexburg, Idaho; and his children, Jodi Siddoway (Trent) of Rexburg, Todd Wightman (Janeen) of Idaho Falls, Dick Brian Wightman of Los Angeles, Greg Wightman (Jaci) of West Haven, Chris Wightman (Desi) of Herriman and Mark Wightman (Laura) of Holladay, Utah.. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Rexburg Stake Center (387 S 4th E, Rexburg, ID 83440). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
