It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Hinckley of Rexburg, Idaho, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Parkinson and Sadie Parkinson; her husband Donald P. Hinckley; her brother Edmond Parkinson; and her great grandchild Joie Kartchner.
She is survived by: her children, Kris Hinckley (Diana) of South Carolina, Kim Muir (Jerry) of Rexburg and Kirt Hinckley (Brenda) of Texas; and her sisters, Kay Barrick and Joyce Hiiva. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Henry's Fork Stake Center (1508 W 3000 N, Rexburg, ID 83440). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Born on Father's Day, June 19, 1932, in Rexburg, Sharon was the oldest child of Van and Sadie Parkinson, and the cherished sister of Kay, Edmond, and Joyce.
