Deanna leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Deanna’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Deanna will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gene; her parents, John and Lorna; her sister Kris; and her daughter Cindy.
She is survived by: her children, Bradley Cook of Manteca, CA., Kevin Cook (Marianne) of Ogden, UT., Gina Phillips (Paul) of Idaho Falls, ID. and Shaun Cook of Portland, OR.; and her adoptive daughter Lanell Thompson of Salem, OR. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Eckersell Funeral Home (101 W Main St, Rigby, ID 83442). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fielding Memorial Cemetery (4600 S Yellowstone Hwy, Idaho Falls, ID 83402).
