He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Ralph Smith and Charlotte Bowman Smith; and his siblings, Shirley, Bruce and Wayne.
He is survived by: his wife LindaMarie Taylor of Idaho Falls; his children, Lynell Roberts (Mike) of Montana, Ardella Marie Taylor of Grand Junction, Robert Taylor (Hiromi) of Utah and Dracy Taylor (Connie) of Idaho Falls; and his siblings, Charleen Sappington of Arizona, Carol Dee Dutson (Steven) of Layton, Ralph Smith of Medicine Lodge and William Edward "Smitty" Smith (Lois) of Enid Oklahoma. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
