As Donna departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donna may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donna leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Dye (Gilpin) and Keith Dye. She is survived by: her husband Emerson "Ray" Young; her sons, Paul Downs (Carrie Downs) and Charles William Young (Jody Young); her sister Patricia Joy Banales; her cousin Dick Clauss (Sharon); and her close friend Sharon Huddleston. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Donna's honor to organizations supporting our nation's veterans.
