She was predeceased by: her parents, David H. Brucks and Hazel L. Elkington; her sister-in-law Janiel Brucks; and her sister Barbara Quigley (Merle Quigley). She is survived by: her children, Heather Layton (Kevin) of Idaho Falls, Julia Rice (Nate) of Pocatello, Tyler Jacobson (Natalie) and Adam Jacobson (Meranda); her husband Richard L. Jacobson; and her siblings, Roger Brucks of Rigby, Linda Janson (Tom) of Spokane, WA and Phyllis Williams (Allen) of Mt. Vernon, WA.. She is also survived by her four children and their spouses.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Eckersell Funeral Home (101 W Main St, Rigby, ID 83442). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery (4023 Ririe Hwy, Rigby, ID 83442).
