She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Calvin Bost Jr. and Nellie Layton Bost; and her son Joseph Knighton. She is survived by: her close friend Dan; her husband Dan Knighton Sr.; and her children, Dan Knighton Jr., Myron Knighton, Jacob Knighton, Phillip Knighton (Laura) and Heather Hill (RJ). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
