She was predeceased by : her parents, Byron Jones Leigh and Ardeth Imogene Crawford Leigh; her husband Robert Allen Ballard; and her siblings, Arlene Winslow-Scott, Roberta Franck, Susan Lamb, Robert Williams, Verle Duane "Buck" Williams, Loren Williams, Eugene "Gene" Leigh and William "Bill" Leigh.

She is survived by : her children, RaeAnn Golder (Kevin) of Rigby, ID and Robert "Bob" Ballard (Annette) of Victor, ID; her sister Patricia Moore of Idaho Falls, ID; her grandchildren, David Nelson, Amanda Smith and Adrian Ballard; her stepgrandchildren, Tony Golder and Samantha Golder; her great grandchildren, Dalton, Kaclyn, Lillian, Raeleigh and Zerek; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Charly, Salem and Amina.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to an account under RaeAnn Golder's name at the Bank of Commerce, for college funds for Joyce's great-grandchildren.
