She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Grant Smith and Alene McCarty; her brother Emery Smith; and her nieces, Jaime Smith and Hilary DeFord.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Tapia (Manual) of Clute, TX, Jessica Gunderson of New Orleans, LA, Danielle Gunderson of Menan, ID and Robyn Stephens of Port Hueneme, CA; and her siblings, Gary Smith (Lois) of Sandy, UT, Kim Smith (Gina) of Idaho Falls, ID, Kevin Smith (Janet Roberts) of Idaho Falls, ID and JoAnn Barney (Doyle) of Grant, ID. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
