He is survived by: his wife Kathy Tanner of Rigby, Idaho; his children, Justin Tanner (Annie) of Montrose, Colorado, Jana Hepworth (Tony) of Hyrum, Utah and Jake Tanner (Baylee) of Rigby, Idaho; and his sister Marcia Riley (Kent) of Rexburg, Idaho. He is also survived by grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
