It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Paul Wertz of Rigby, Idaho, born in Taylor, Michigan, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Richard Charles Wertz and Alverda Sibol Bullock Wertz; his significant other Delores Fore; his brother Louis Wertz; his children, Michele Smuin (Kevin) of Rigby, ID, Richard Paul Wertz II of Lyman, WY and Thane Wertz of Rigby, ID; and his sister Anita Watson of Taylor, MI. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
