It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth G. Barney of Rigby, Idaho, born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, who passed away on August 3, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman David Paul Gohr Sr. and Nellie Mae Meyer; her children, Wayne and Barbara; her son-in-law Dick Merrill (Judy); and her granddaughter Hilary DeFord.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Merrill, Vicki Harriman, Wanda Pincock (Mike), Doyle Barney (JoAnn) of Grant Idaho, Keith Barney (Colleen) of Grant Idaho and Brett Barney of Lincoln Nebraska; and her brothers, Bob Gohr (Ann) and Herman Gohr Jr.. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

She donated tied quilts to her family reunion raffle and they were the most sought after raffle prize.
