With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virginia C. Smith of Rigby, Idaho, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merzie Olson and James Olson; and her children, Lisa Marie Smith and Terry Merle Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Vicky Johnson (Dennis), Debby Christensen, Scott Johnson (Nancy), Mark Johnson (Barbara), Darrin Johnson and Mel Smith; and her brother Kent Olson (Donalee). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations on Virginia's behalf to the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission Women and Children Shelter (Haven), in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
