She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Jay Smith (T. J.) and Bettie Jane Smith (Rogers); her former life partner Ed Herring; and her sister Nancy Jay Stevens of Silver City. She is survived by : her husband Jimmy Foy; her children, Russ Herring (Mary), Megan Cropper (Jeffrey) and Amber Maloy (Shane); and her stepdaughter Gena Cornett (Joseph). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be offered to Meals on Wheels or the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lubbock, Texas. You may make a donation pledge via our website.
