He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jack, Betty Roice, Ruland and Naomi Jacobson; his uncles, Monty Roice and Barry Robbins; his cousin Jack Robbins; and his mother-in-law Mae Moran.
He is survived by: his parents, Kenneth Gene Roice of Logan, Utah and RuLinda Ann Jacobson Roice of Swan Valley, Idaho; his sons, Dustin Kent Roice (Tosha) of Valentine's Day, Derrick Gene Roice of Idaho Falls, Ryan Michael Roice (Kimmie) of Idaho Falls and Branden Kenneth Roice (Whitney Rees) of Idaho Falls; his grandchildren, Brayden, Whitley, Chloe, Brycen, Draven, Nevaeh (Carter), Domnic and Hazen; his wife Wendy Roice of Ririe, Idaho; his daughter Connie Lewis (Trevor) of Rexburg, Idaho; his sister Jayann Carlisle of Swan Valley, Idaho; his siblings-in-law, Steve Carlisle (Nicole) of Idaho Falls, Michael Longie of Idaho Falls and Kelly Longie of Dillon, Montana; his nephews, Kenny Donahue of Broomfield and Cody Carlisle of Swan Valley, Idaho; and his friends, Bill, Lorraine, Kurt, Shane and Rose.
Gene has always been a donor, but was sure he had nothing to donate. He would be so proud to know that he was able to donate the cornea of his remaining eye, despite being legally blind.
