He is survived by: his wife Margene Hoopes; his children, Shanille Moosman (Mark), Jennilyn Flook (Rob), Jonathon J Hoopes (Summer), Joyanna Hoopes Gold, Michael Ryan Hoopes (Angela), Aaron Wayne Hoopes (Shelia) and Adam Wayne Hoopes (Kim); his stepchildren, Sean Tomkinson (Shaylynn), Kory Tomkinson (Jeanette), Jason Tomkinson (Kim), DeVon Tomkinson (Kristie), Jamie Smith (Ashley) and Jared Tomkinson (Shalissa); and his siblings, Jerry, Blaine, Cheryl Powell (Jay), Judy Womack (Bob), Carol Bentley and Carla Hoopes. He is also survived by 53 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Rockland (405 E Shoshone St, Rockland, ID 83271). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the Valley View Cemetery (1000 E Shoshone St, Rockland, ID 83271).
