He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregoria and Felipe Guevara; his siblings, Socorro Guevara, Cirilo Guevara and Franco Guevara; and his son Jose Isabel Jr. Guevara.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita; and his children, Yesenia Padilla (Floyd) and Ruben Guevara (Mari).
