He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Charles and Nellie Simmons; his siblings, Betty Glenn, Vernal, Dennis, Lyle and Gene Simmons; his daughter Ann Simmons Kontos; and his grandsons, Rhett G. Kontos and Brayden M. Blackmon.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Simmons; and his children, Chuck, Jay, Karen, Jean and Megan. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Hansen Mortuary (710 6th St, Rupert, ID 83350). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
