She was predeceased by : her parents, Othniell William and Margaret Edith Simms; her siblings, Forrest, Harvey and Dorthy Owens; her half-brother Clifford Ray; her daughter Colleen Baird; and her granddaughter Jennifer Baird.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Dean Baird; her children, Connie Duke (Tom Duke), Robert Lewis Baird (Rebecca Ann Baird), Karen Baird Van Noy, William Dean Baird (Auna-Lisa Robertson), Roger Trent Baird (Nicole Holten Baird) and Jeffrey Curtis Baird (Rachel Ann Baird); and her half-siblings, Renee Iris Jones, Jane Florence Nichol and Gaylord Warner.
