He was predeceased by: his parents, Willford Sagers and Ruth Viola Stowers Sagers; his siblings, Gloria, Charles Sagers, Margene Sagers Altom and Harold Monroe "Moe" Sagers; and his son-in-law Sidley Nelson III.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Nelson (Sid), Michael Sagers (Liz), Suzi Myers (Fred), Mindy Poulton (Ross), Rebecca Pugh (Kenneth), Teresa Quast (Todd), Matthew Sagers (Krista), Andrea Gibby (Reed) and Kristen Vlasak (Mike). He is also survived by ses 39 grandchildren, 90 great‑grandchildren, and 4 great‑great‑grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the View Ward Chapel (554 S 490 E, Burley, ID 83318). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
