He was predeceased by: his mother Elena Carpenter (Casias); and his girlfriend Mary LaRayne Sharples. He is survived by: his father James Carpenter; his sister Rosalene Braune (Robert A. Braune); his nephew Jason "Grasshopper" A. Braune; his nieces, Kimberly Fisk (Dan Fisk) and Robin Granay (Jacob Granay); his great-nieces, Cora and Harper Fisk; his great-nephew Bennet Granay; his sister Diana Watkins (Richard Watkins); his nieces and nephews, Hannah, Emily and Clare Watkins; his brother James W. Carpenter (Linda Pool); his nieces and nephews, Jeramy Carpenter and Jerrica Carpenter; his grandson Remington Thomson; his friend Charles Clayton; Ciara Greenwell, Jaydon Greenwell and Danaisha Phillips.
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hansen Mortuary (710 6th St, Rupert, ID 83350). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Rupert Cemetery (450 N Meridian, Rupert, ID 83350).
