With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne James in Rupert, Idaho, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Wayne leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Acie and Faye Hymas. He is survived by: his wife Christine James; and his children, Bruce James, Lonnie James (Tom Florio), Sandra Atkin and Terry James. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Taylorsville 30th Ward (4252 Bennion Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84119).
