He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Moon and Ivy May Dixon Moon; and his son Areland Jean Moon II. He is survived by: his wife Terri Mace; his children, Clark Moon (Brandy Smith), Sam Moon (Elaine), Pauleina Hansen (Mark), Bobby Moon, Lynda Mason, Adam Moon, Cheryl Scott (Thomas) and Kelly Moon (Brenda Bolinder); his stepchildren, Mark Babcock and Anna King; and his brother Ellsworth Moon (Janine). He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.
