With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Pope of Saint Anthony, Idaho, who passed away on August 13, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father John Kilwein; her siblings, Bernie Flyberg (Ralph) and Marcella Flyberg (Mel); her mother Magdalene Kilwein; her husband Henery James Pope Jr.; and her daughter Wanda Smith (Lionel).
She is survived by: her children, Nadine Sutton (Gary) and Tim Pope; and her son-in-law Lionel Smith. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.
