He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jr. Bentcik and Frances Bentcik; and his brother Edward Bentcik. He is survived by: his wife Margie Bentcik; his mules, Tammy, Annie and Jake; his children, Jim Bentcik (Kim) of St. Maries, Jay Bentcik of St. Maries and Denise Bentcik of San Diego, CA; and his sister Caralyn Olson (Connie) of St. Maries, ID. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Maries Nazarene Church (175 Grandview Dr, St Maries, ID 83861). A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Eagles Lodge 707 (707 Main Ave, St Maries, ID 83861).
