He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Riggan; his wife Connie Riggan of Salmon; his stepfather Kurt Hinkle; his grandparents, Clark, Harriet Riggan, Hugh and LaVina Nelson; and his brother-in-law Kelly Ryan.
He is survived by: his mother Barbara Nelson Hinkle of Umatilla, Washington; his son Jimmy (Taylor); his grandson James Valentine Riggan of Salmon; his close friend Kate Echols of Salmon; his sister Bette Higley (Con) of Kennewick, Washington; his stepmother Debbie Riggan of Salmon; and his aunt Susan Blodgett (George) of Salmon. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Lemhi County Humane Society, 958 VFW Drive, Salmon, ID, or to a charity of choice.
