He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Schofield and Hazel Schofield; his brother Bang; and his favorite buddy Tagger. He is survived by : his wife Lydia; his stepdaughter Lisa Busch; his granddaughters, Kristi Jenkins, Stacy (Justin), Schriver, MaKenna, Landin, Karsyn and Kyleigh; and his sister Kaye Eckerlie (Bob).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Salmon School District #291.
